WASHINTON PARK NEIGHBORHOOD ENHANCEMENT AND PRESERVATION
Council Meeting





December 11, 2003

Our Council met with Ted Vitale (Broward County Planning Services Division). Ted Vitale read the Ordinance Amendment Section XI for Prohibited Activities. It clearly states mobile food vehicles and noise disturbances are not allowed within the boundaries of the Washington Park Neighborhood Preservation and Enhancement District. Violations of the proposed Ordinance may be prosecuted in accordance with s125.69(1), F.S. (See attachment for details). A motion was made by Mrs. Idella Wright and seconded by Mrs. Sandra Bloodsaw to accept the Amendment. A vote was taken and it was a unanimous vote in favor of the Amendment. Ted said the Amendment will be put on the County Commissioners agenda in January.

The meeting proceeded with our Service Awards Ceremony.
