The newest business to move to the neighborhood is Home Theater Concepts, Ltd. Gar Huebner?’s establishment will be located at 4507 Forest Avenue after remodeling work is completed in the former location of Space, Form, and Light Building Design. Home Theater Concepts, Ltd. is ?“Your Door to Home Theater, Home Automation, and Music Throughout Your Home.?” Check out their website at www.hometheaterconceptsltd.com to see some of their products and workmanship. We welcome them to Waveland Park.

Since opening their doors at the Uptown Shopping Center, Drugtown has been a valued business member of the Waveland Park Neighborhood Association. In addition to support with the WPNA grill at the last two Jazz in July concerts, Drugtown has contributed to other projects including open houses at the Drake Municipal Observatory and participating in development of our Action Plan in the Neighborhood Revitalization Program. Mike Beals is the new Store Director of our neighborhood Drugtown. We also extend a Waveland Park welcome him.

Although robins are considered by many to be the harbingers of spring, you know the season has officially arrived when you can get an ice cream cone sprouting a gummy worm or animal cracker. Snookies Malt Shop opened for the season on April 10th.
