Nearly $10 Million in Waveland Park NFC Activity

Do you own a home in Waveland Park or plan to buy or sell one here? You may be eligible for assistance from programs of the Neighborhood Finance Corporation (NFC). NFC loans can include FORGIVABLE grants, and special funds are available for conversion of duplexes into single family residences.

Since Waveland Park became a ?“designated neighborhood?” in the Neighborhood Revitalization Program, over 128 residents in our neighborhood have taken advantage of this opportunity. They are sharing over ONE MILLION DOLLARS in forgivable loans. NFC continues to provide a $10,000 property rehabilitation subsidy to borrowers purchasing and financing their homes with NFC. All subsidies are in the form of a 5-year forgivable loan.
