Christmas Tree Collection Schedule
Natural Christmas tree collection will begin on Jan. 1. Trees should be placed at the curb for yard waste collection. Trees should be free of lights, decorations, tinsel, etc. Artificial trees should be scheduled for bulky item collection. You can schedule bulky items by calling 311, visiting curbit.charlottenc.gov or using the CLT+ app.
Solid Waste Services offers collection updates via text. Residents who would like to receive updates
(If you have a smaller artificial tree, or wreath that fits in your curb side can you can just trash it that way). Larger artificial trees / wreaths will need bulk pickup. Pay attention to the date provided when calling 311 or online scheduling. It is not always the next weekly pickup. Place bulk curb side the day prior to the scheduled pickup.
