Dryer vent cleaning is a homeowner responsibility.  Vents should be cleaned at least once per year or they become a potential fire hazard.  A vent that is not working properly due to it needing to be cleaned can cause your dryer to run hot and not be as effiecient, therfore costing more money in electricity to run your dryer.  I personally have used a company called PHD.  I have used them many years for carpet cleaning.  In my opinion, they do an excellent job.  When I became aware of the importance of having your dryer vent cleaned , I called PHD.  This was listed on their information as a service they perform.  They are licensed and insured.  I have referral cards that will get you !0% off of getting your dryer vent cleaned.  If you are interested in a referral card, I will have them with me at the HOA meeting on August !8, 2010, or you may email me at wchoa0811@aol.com and I will bring you one.
