It?’s ?“Fiesta?” Time at
the Historic Centinela Adobe

Sunday, Sept. 9th is this year?’s date for the Annual Fiesta at the Centinela Adobe Complex. The Fiesta is a great place to meet with neighbors and a fun event for all ages. Food booths with Pandulce and Tortillas, as well as Mariachi Bands and Spanish Dancers will add to the festivities which take place from 1:00 to 4:00pm.
La Casa de la Centinela, (the Centinela Adobe) was built in 1833 by Jose Antonio Machado and is nestled in the Osage neighborhood of the Westchester community. Tours of the facilities are available on Sundays and Wednesdays between 2:00 and 4:00pm.
The Adobe is located at 7634 Midfield Avenue. Parking for special events is provided on 83rd Street and Hindry Avenue. For more information contact Claydine Burt at 677 2067.
