Statement of Purpose

The Westchester Playa del Rey Community Council is based on a vision that the Neighborhood Councils are self-governed, self directed and independant. The Los Angeles City Charter gives Neighborhood Councils an institutionalized role in the City's deceision making process. Membership in this Council is open to all Stakeholders. (See Article V Sec. 1 Stakeholder). At this time there is no cost to join and we welcome any and all that wish to particpate. If you are not a member and wish to join simply email the Membership Committee Manager with your name phone and address. If you wish to participate in the building of the Council send an email to the Manager of your choice of committee, you are welcome.
