Oct 10, 2009 - Suspicious Late Night activities
There have been several instances of unusually suspicous late night activities. One was an older SUV zig-zagging through the neighborhood, attempted gate entry on Park Dr and unknown vehicle/occupant w/flashlight walking a yard. See expanded explanations in Discussions. Please add your observations to any of the appropriate discussions.

Dear Neighbors:
We have a new neighborhood webpage: http://www.neighborhoodlink.com/Westgate_Taku/home
-------------
IMPORTANT NEWS:
There have been some comfirmed sightings of teens walking into driveways checking for unlocked car doors. We learned previously that even a car that has no obvious valuable contents can still be a source of coins, personal id,etc. It is appropriate to call the police with such observations. The latest sighting was this past weekend on Kodiak St.

Your help is needed to make this neighborhood webpage more useful.
Your help is needed to make this neighborhood webpage more useful.
There are areas to input much info about our Neighborhood and surrounding community.
I will gladly give you access privileges for this and future content updates.
Can someone please help with:
1) Download our area map (I generally include the little triangle street/alley that runs from Park to the Boatel—Riverside Dr.)
2) Schools contacts
3) Whatever else you want to share
We still need help to develop a quick way to email all 200 residents. Currently, it is only done by a cut-n-paste that takes a couple of hours.
About half of the households in our neighborhood receive our email broadcasts. We hope to actively update this list during the next few days. If you know someone that wishes to be added, please have them send a note to westgate.taku@hotmail.com
Our new webpage has a discussion section. It now has topics for: Dog Walker for Hire, New Construction, Go Slow – 20 mph, Kudos for Graffitti Busters
I hope this webpage can become an active Neighborhood information exchange, even during the winters when we are NOT able to chat over the fence or in the street.
Enjoy,
Cathy
