Westlake Homeowner's Association

To whom do we go to with problems as there is apparently no longer a monthly meeting? I have a daycare (expressly forbidden in the covenants) next door at 6105 Westlane. I have asked several times to have this closed. Still in full operation. Parents bring their children at all  times of the day and night. If we had wanted to have a business next door to our home, we would have moved to a different location.

Does anyone else have this problem, other than those who live next to this house?

Yes I have problems with the folks there too. They have people that blast their music at all hours of the night. They have literally parked in front of my driveway blocking it on occasion, etc. It is a constant frustration.

Well keep trying....You have called the city on us....that did not work the lady came out and she viewed our daycare, and our license and said we were not violating any rules or laws...  I think you need to read the so called covenants over again...we are not operating an Illegal business and if you have that big of a problem with us you know where are door is come knock on it and express your feelings...we have been at this residence since 1985 we don't bother anyone and keep to ourselves...there are plenty of people doing businesses out of their homes; Mary Kay etc. in this neighborhood in this bad economy a lot of people are just trying to find a way to make a living and make ends meet people who have lost jobs and what not and there are evil people like you trying to close me down at the same time I am helping others as well providing child care for their parents while they are out working...and  what you are writing on here is non sense and I seriously think you need God because you are HEARTLESS...we dont have kids coming at all times of the day and night ....there are people who fix cars for others we see them dropping of cars to be fixed I mean a lot of people are doing different things so if they stop us they have to stop everyone who is doing some kind of home business...why does it bother you what we do cause we caould careless what others around us are doing...illegal business come on we are not selling drugs, or guns or anything of that nature...thank you for your effort...TAKE US TO COURT!

And response to the loud music at all times of the night that does not come from us it comes from some other residents who stay up the street on westlane.....I hear their loud music late in the night a lot so You might want to watch out a little more and you will discover where the loud music is coming from...you can single people out like that its wrong I see young looking highschool kids in their cars with loud music and driving really fast in the neighborhood but you dont complain about that and to me that is more dangerous because they can easily hit and innocent child.....WE are not perfect and Sorry if we have parked in front of your driveway....we have had that done to us as well but everyone is different and it didnt bother us as much as it may have bothered you ...my thing is if there is a problem you can easily wright a note stick it on the door or just knock on the door to resolve the problem...in the bible it saids we should love our neighbors...you might hate us or what not or simply might not like us because we are black but like I mentioned before we have been here since 1985 we have not bothered anyone and we keep to ourselves....all I can say is I will pray for all of you!  Despite what you may do or say we dont hate anyone and it will always remain that way!
