In the past we have written about Westown Park. This is our local park next to Sahuaro
School. We had a problem in OUR park and the neighborhood had a meeting, worked
together to take care of the problems that were going on in the park and they went away.
Families have been enjoying the park and all it has to offer. We are fortunate to have
this jewel in our neighborhood. Since the million dollar makeover it is even more
enjoyable..
Now it seems we are starting to see problems arising in OUR park and we need your
help. If you see suspicious activity in the park, vandalism, violence please call Crime
Stop at 602-262-6151 and report it. Please don?’t assume someone else will. Also the
more people that call the more results for the good we will see. If you are with 2 other
people and you witness a problem at the park everyone needs to call, not just one person.
Make 3 separate calls. This is what it takes to make a difference and be heard.
