Westown Block Watch

***2nd Place Award*** Westown Parade Float ***2nd

Another great job on the float in the APS Fiesta of Light Parade. Marty Cowie
took a week off work and selflessly dedicated his time and energy to make sure
Westown was represented in the parade. Marty was joined by Jim McDonald,
Josh Beletz, Jay Shaw, Cowboy Ron and Travis the wonder mascot. There was
a supporting cast of neighbors to pitch in and lend a hand.
The truck and trailer were donated by Dave Saunders Trucking Co. who gave
up his 45?’ trailer for 2 weeks and drove the float down the parade route through
Central Phoenix.
Marty had hoped more neighbors would come out and work on the float as in
past years as this strengthens neighborhood relationships among
neighbors.Christmas wouldn?’t be the same without Westown?’s parade float. If
