Westown Block Watch

I understand there is a new ''youth center'' in Westown. In Halle's Square next to Wavelengths. Does the WWNA support this? Do you know who runs it?

Youth Center

Recently we have met the owners and they are nice people. They are trying to give the kids who are local to have a place to hang out. I believe they charge $5.00. They are open Fri and Sat nights. Games, loud music, etc.
The WWNA does not really know much else. It seems to be ok and chaperoned. It has no relation to Westown Watch or the youth center we sponsor at Larkspur Church.
I would rather see the kids doing something like that then running loose getting into trouble. But that is strictly my opinion. Are these people who started it strange? No, myself I think they are refreshing. A genuine interest to keep the kids off the street is surely welcomed by me. Only time will tell. They said we are always welcome to come by and hang out.
