Neighbors & Friends,

Westpark is such a wonderful community and what better way to meet your neighbors, along with sharing information, ideas & opinions than to have an interactive neighborhood website. The goal is to encourage communication between neighbors, community organizations and their local events, as well as any other topics which are important to the community.

This website also includes links to local movie information, parenting tips, online recipes, restaurant reviews, sports, real estate, mortgage lending, online classifieds and much more.

Many of you have called and expressed concern about the recent theft in the neighborhood and during these times we need to remember the basics when it comes to protecting your home. For this reason I have included a section about Safety Tips to Protect your Home from Theft, which is located under “Police & Safety”.

For those of you who have voiced concerns about child safety on the crosswalks by Plaza Vista, I have included a “Crosswalk Safety” page to remind everyone to slow down.

Please enjoy your website and I always welcome feedback or ideas that you have to help make this a better site. I have enjoyed the many conversations I have had with those of you of whom I have had the pleasure of meeting and I look forward to chatting with those of you whom I have not yet met.

I also want to thank everyone who participated in the neighborhood garage sale! For those of you who were not able to participate due to other obligations, I have plenty of garage sale signs for you to use on another weekend.
