Has Passed bill to protect people from Predatory Lending.
Neighborhood Resource Center has grant programs, Computers
Encouraged entire community to participate & join in the Neighborhood Watch Program
Passed a law saying anyone with materials to make meth, they can be arrested.
7:30 Presenters Jackie Moorhead, Lynn Hedenhol from Denver Conflict Center, Non-profit Mediation Services. Deals with from Neighbor to Neighbor, Neighbor to community issues.
They reported on the Silverado/MGM & Community Member Mediation process. A report was passed out which is included in the Westwood Neighborhood Association Notebook for this date for further review if any are interested.
There were questions taken from the community and the beginnings of some very healthy conversation ensued between community members and the owners of the two businesses

WNA needs to work on BI-Laws, policies and positions, i.e. liquor license zoning, use of addresses.
