UNLOAD THAT EXTRA TRASH
Got some extra garbage, brush or recycles--to much to fit in your garbage cart? Getting it off your hands is easier than ever. Now there's a new temporary drop-off station in south Fort Worth. Unload your extra items there, or at either of the other two stations. There's is not charge. Residents must show a recent water bill or driver's license to prove a recent water bill. No commercial waste is accepted.
All three stations accept a variety of items including:
- bagged garbage
- recycles
- bulky trash
- yard trimmings
- tires(limit 4 per household)
- old furniture
- minor remodeling debris
- appliances such as refrigerators and air conditioners Trained staff will remove coolants.
- electronics
- computer hardware
THE SWAP SHOP
To keep some of the big items out of the landfill, an area know as the Swap Shop has been set up at Drop-off Stations Number 1 and 2. Residents are also welcome to pick up items for free if they sign a waiver. Donations to the swap shop are and eligible for tax credits.
FREE MULCH
FRee mulch is available at permanent Drop-Off Stations NUmber 1 and 2. Mulch loaded on a pickup must be covered by a tarp to prevent litter.
