We were told that we had to get our mailboxes in tip top shape or suffer the wrath of the HOA. I have driven through our neighborhood and numerous mailboxes are not within specifications. I have spent money repairing mine. What about the rest of the neighborhood? Add insult to injury with today's storm I drive through and there are at least 10 boxes knocked down. Why? The reason is they are weak and poorly engineered boxes. Why can't we require more sturdier boxes say made of masonary?
