Myth: TollTag parking at Dallas Love Field comes with a catch.
Fact: TollTag parking at Dallas Love Field is easy because there are no new rules for TollTag users to follow. The rules are the same when TollTag users don't want their TollTag read and their accounts charged.
If drivers don't want their TollTags to be read when they enter the parking garages at Dallas Love Field, they must either (1) call NTTA at 972-818-NTTA (6882) between 7 a.m.—7 p.m. Monday through Friday to deactivate their account for use at Dallas Love Field or (2) put the TollTag in the metallic bag provided by the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) with the TollTag starter kit.
There are also customer service agents available at the garage exit booths to assist drivers who inadvertently use their TollTag when they did not intend to do so.
Myth: Drivers have little choice but to use their TollTag to pay for parking in all lots. Fact: Only garage parking can be charged to the TollTag.
Drivers have three choices to pay for garage parking at Dallas Love Field. They can choose to use either their TollTag to pay for parking in the Love Field garages or to take a ticket at the garage entry lanes and then pay by cash or credit to exit the parking garage. Tickets are not dispensed at the garage entry lanes to TollTag customers.
Myth: Your TollTag account will be automatically charged when you drive onto airport property.
Fact: TollTag readers are only on the entrance lanes to the garages. TollTag drivers not entering the parking garages will not be charged to pick up or drop off passengers.
