Since moving to the neighborhood, along Summerwood Creek in 2003, I've been amazed at the diversity of wildlife viewing opportunities.

There are so many birds, I cannot name them all, wish I knew more about bird identification.

Here is a list of what I've seen over the past 7 years...

(please share your sightings/knowledge)

- Bald Eagles - 7 times

- Small Falcon - 2-3 times

- A pair of Otters - one time

- A pair of Coyotes - 2 times

- Minks - a pair 1 time, an individual 2 times

- Skunks not so much lately but numerous times

- Raccoons - many many times

- "Chinese Wood Duck" (non native) 4-5 times

- Opossum - a few times

- Nutria (non native) - too many times

- Squirrels - many many times

- Geese

- Ducks

 - etc.

Ooops, forgot to mention-

Beaver (numerous times) (when I/you can't see them, sometimes you can hear them Slap the water with their tails, sounds like someone tossed a Big rock in the water)
