FINANCIAL RESERVES

Posted in: Stanton Farms
THERE WILL BE SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION COMING TO YOU WITH THE NEXT BILLING. THERE HAS BEEN A DECLINE IN THE RESERVE FUNDS THAT ARE NEEDED TO MAINTAIN AN AMOUNT TO OF MONEY TO TAKE CARE OF UNFORSEEN REPAIRS. THE BD. WILL BE SENDING INFORMATION TO TRY TO SHOW HOW MUCH RESERVE FUNDS ARE NEEDED, HOW THE FIGURES WERE ARRIVED AT, AND SOME SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEM. WATCH FOR INFO IN YOUR NEXT BILLING AND ON THE WEB SITE. WE WILL NEED TO MAKE SOME HARD DECISIONS AND TO GET MORE INVOLVED IN ASSOCIATION.

Reserves

I think we need to have another meeting with the number present to vote at a lower level or vote via mail with the next statement so that we can hopefully get enough votes to pass the assessment of $385 or whatever amount was suggested.

It will only get worse as time goes by. I would rather pay now that have our monthly fees continually raised.

Why is this taking so long?

I understand that there wasn't a quorum at the emergency meeting to resolve this issue (I voted by proxy).
I feel this issue is dragging on too long and is too important to prolong. (The original message was posted in November, 1999.)
I support the option of a one time assessment charge to limit the continued increase of our monthly statement.
What can be done to resolve the financial reserve problem soon?
