Board Meeting MARCH 23,1998

7:00 P.M. OPEN FORUM. No homeowners were present for the Open Forum portion of the meeting.
Marnie McKercher attended the meeting to answer questions about the air-conditioning proposals for the Mineral Clubhouse. The proposed new system includes an automatic shut-off to avoid the system "freezing up" and larger intake grills to provide increased efficiency.
7:30 P.M. HEARING-Mike Hartford, 8695 E. Phillips Avenue, attended the meeting for a hearing regarding a pickup truck.
CALL TO ORDER-President Gaylene Hawkins called the meeting to order. Vice President Jim Levy, Secretary Helen Rencher, Dan Wilson, along with business manager K.C. Pope were present. Pat O'Hara, Tom Zimmerman and Blair Zykan were absent. The President declared that a quorum was present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES. Minutes from the February 18 meeting were presented. Upon review, they amended the following items:
Paragraph 4 of the Pool Committee Report - The pool manager's name was added and the second sentence was deleted. The first two sentences, as corrected, read as follows:
"The Pool Chairman reported that the Pool Manager, Chris Atencio, is willing to return this Summer for the same contracted price as the three previous years. A formal contract will be presented next month. Jim Levy requested increased communication between the pool manager and the Association concerning the looks of pool and homeowner concerns. Dan Wilson stated that there is a sheet at the pool for homeowners to write any complaints or concerns and that is reviewed daily."
The following amendments were made to the Architectural Control Committee Report: The first sentence of the second paragraph of the Architectural Control Committee - the words "exhaust" and "in a garage" were added so the sentence will read:
"The committee is working on the complaint concerning an exhaust fan installed in a garage by a homeowner."
