Let me entertain you.........

...with some more serious thoughts about the detention facility. First, it looks better already. As I said in a previous message, the common ground along the ditch -er- detention facility can become a beautiful parkway if developed and maintained with that in mind. Some possibilities to consider: 1. landscaping ideas; 2. irrigation (even really tough plants need available irrigation); 3. low level (not tall, not bright) lighting - dusk to dawn or maybe solar; 4. barricades to prevent vehicular traffic and overnight parking, either of which could become a security problem. Anything else???? Let's have some dialogue on this. Thanks.

Enhancement Survey

This is another reason that the enhancement survey is so important. We as a board are looking at the results and using those to move forward with improvements. Everyone should use these as a voice and let it be known what you want to see in the neighborhood! A walking trail along the detention facility would be great! Then maybe we should put up a section of iron fence along the north end of the ditch just at the end of the ditch area. We could use this area to landscape. The walking trail could continue along the ditch and join into the sidewalk that needs to be constructed to tie the Demery and Cawtaba sidewalks together. This is an improvement that I would like to see! Please if you have not done so already get us your surveys!!!!
Ditch Dinner

Maybe we could have an old fashioned dinner on the grounds in the park with all the varmits that are caught!
