CRIME REPORT; 07-26-10
Good morning!!!!! Over the weekend, officers of the Abilene Police Department responded to numerous calls for service. Here are a few examples: Officer Scott responded to a vehicle burglary call in the 1800 block of Anderson. The victim stated an unknown suspect entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and took the victim's wallet and purse with various financial and personal documents. A report was worked for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. Officer Villarreal stopped a stolen vehicle in the 5000 block of Loop 322. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Pleasanton, Texas (south of San Antonio). The driver, a 23 year old white male, was arrested for state jail felony Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Driving While Intoxicated. For the Abilene Police Department, this is Sgt Keith Shackleford.
