CRIME REPORT; 7-8-11

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

At about 12:10 pm yesterday Agents of the Special Operations Division executed a search warrant in the 2200 blk of W Overland Trail.  Approximately 11g of Heroin was located in this search.  A male suspect was arrested for Delivery of Heroin.  A female subject was also present and had a smaller quantity of heroin.  She was charged with Possession of Heroin. 

At about 4:30 yesterday afternoon Officer Mark Thomas responded to a Forgery call in the 4400 blk of Ridgemont.  A male suspect there passed a money order that had the amount altered from $100.00 to $400.00.  He was charged with Forgery.

And finally at 7:15 last night Officer Feff Farley was dispatched to the 700 blk of Bowie to a disturbance call.  A female subject had been reported to have done approximately $12,000.00 in damage to a vehicle.  She was subsequently contacted at her residence in the 200 blk of Arnold.  This female subject had been seen driving and admitted to be under the influence of prescription medication.  Officer Farley arrested her and she began to resist.  This female subject headbutted Officer Farley in the head while he was seatbelting her in the patrol car.  She will be charged with DWI, Felony Criminal Mischief, and Resisting Arrest.

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

At 9:54 yesterday morning Officer Mike Janusz was dispatched to the desk station of the LEC.  A female subject there had taken a telephone and knocked a hole in the sheetrock with it.  She was placed under arrest for Criminal Mischief. 

At about 11:30 last night Officer Mary Guitar was dispatched to the park in the 700 blk of Barrow.  Calling party stated they could smell marijuana.  Officer Guitar arrived and smelled marijuana and contacted a male subject.  The male gave consent to search and officer Guitar found a usable amount of marijuana on his person and another bag of marijuana at his feet.  He was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana.

CRIME REPORT; 7-12-11

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

Yesterday at about 11:15 am Officer Pat Perez was dispatched to the Juvenile Detention Center in reference to a Bribery.  A probation Officer reported that a male subject offered a $500.00 bribe not to be reported for smoking marijuana.  This male subject was placed under arrest for Bribery. 

Yesterday at about 1:15 pm Officer Pat Perez again was dispatched to a shoplifting call at a south side business.  Officer Perez contacted a male suspect who showed to have outstanding warrants for Theft and Aggravated Robbery.  He was arrested on those warrants.  The Theft case is pending.
