LARGE ITEM PICKUP
The City of Santa Ana and Great Western Reclamation offer single family residences FREE curbside collection of large bulky items twice a year. Each pickup is limited to 4 bulky items. These items may include:
?• Couches/Furniture ?• Rugs
?• Other large household items ?• Water heaters
?• Household appliances
(stoves, refrigerators, etc.)
To arrange for bulky item pickup, call Great Western Reclamation at
(714)558-7761. Hazardous waste WILL NOT be collected.
HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL
Hazardous Waste includes tires, auto parts, motor oil, anti-freeze/coolant, paint, pesticides, concrete, construction debris and hazardous/toxic materials. These materials can be disposed of at one of the following County-operated locations:

Please call first. A recording will explain in more detail what type of wastes will/will not be accepted. (Maximum amount accepted: 50 lbs. or 5 gallons.)
NOTE: Wastes will be accepted from Tuesday through Saturday, between 9:00 am and 1:00 p.m. only.
In addition, there are Santa Ana service stations that will accept waste motor oil only. They have reported that this service is offered free of charge. Please call facility before bringing in waste oil to find out volume limits and to determine if any fee will be charged.

It is AGAINST THE LAW to include hazardous materials with your regular trash. A penalty of up to $25,000 per violation may be charged.

DESECHO DE DESPERDICIOS T?“XICOS
Los desperdicios t?³xicos incluyen llantas, partes de auto, aceite de motores, anticongelante/enfriante, pintura, pesticidas, concreto, basura de construcci?³n y materiales t?³xicos y peligrosos. Estos materiales pueden ser llevados a una de las siguientes localidades operadas por el Condado de Orange:
