Mary Duarte of the Santa Ana Fire Dept. addressed the June neighborhood meeting and shared the following information.
According to city code (SAMC) the selling and discharging of legal fireworks is:
No person shall sell or discharge any type of fireworks at any time except:
July 1: 12 noon to 10:00 p.m.
July 2 & 3: 10 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
July 4: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for selling of fireworks only. Discharging is allowed until 10:00 p.m. on the 4th.
