I wanted to make everyone aware of an online service which Code Enforcement of the City of Orlando has to offer

Here on their website you can submit a Violation online and even check on the status of that violation.? 

You can also access Lien information.

I would like to point out the difference between "Code Violations" and "Condo Rules" - if ever in doubt please check with the office or refer to your copy of the condo rules.?  The condo management can not enforce the law - they are not the police, also the police can not enforce condo "rules".?  Here are some examples:

People swimming after hours at the pool = Condo Rule

Unless the violators don't live here (trespassing) or they are being extremely loud or breaking bottles etc, this is a condo rule (we set the hours) and unfortunately the police can not remove violators of this rule.?  (this is a tricky one because you may not know if the violators are trespassing or if they are residents, so call the police and they can ask for ID)

Displaying a huge 50 foot wide American Flag = Condo Rule Violation

10 people living in 1 unit = Code Enforcement Violation (this is breaking the law)

I encourage everyone to have open communication with the office and you may first want to check with them to see if they are already aware of the issue.?  If the violation is something minor a friendly reminder from the office may result in a faster resolution to the problem.
