Oh good lord almighty! That statement you quoted was not an attack, it was a statement of fact. I guess you do not know the difference. When did pointing out a fact become an attack? Attack:
I did not opine anywhere in that post (or the other thread you seem to keep dragging in here) but I will now -- that lawyers are greedy bloodsuckers who bleed this country dry, chase ambulances for clients and generally make almost every facet of American business difficult. If you have never been in a courtroom proceeding then you don't know what a farce the legal system is. It's no wonder that lawyers are viewed as one step below used car salesmen on the integrity scale! Take the Johnson County DA for example - he lies about where he lives (Topeka) and gets away with it. Typical scumbag lawyer. All the dirty politicians are lawyers too..........and look at the mess this country is in right now economically. I don't know anyone who has one good thing to say about a lawyer - maybe you do but I am entitled to my opinion nonetheless. So, you must be quite a Bible thumper if you think that the word "*ss" is profanity. Good thing I didn't say "butt" or "tingley parts" you might have stroked out. (Referring to a medical stroke rather than a euphemism for auto-eroticsim just so you don't infer anything I'm not implying.) They say *ss on TV.....they say it on the radio. It's not one of the "7 words you can't say on TV" according to George Carlin (RIP). I would reproduce those 7 words here but I'm afraid your eyes would fall out of your head and your brain would melt. Bottom line....."Judge not, lest ye be judged". Got anything else you'd like to be schooled in? Maybe you should just refrain from replying and giving me any more ammunition to shut you down with. Unless you like the "last word" game like KC300C does. Go for it. |

I'm very happy someone hasaddressed this issue again. We are also interested in making a change in the bylaws to allow trampolines in Windsor Hills. I'm wondering if there are many more families out there that feel the same but lack strong communication regarding the community. Due to not being on a list or not having current information. I would be happy to help gather signatures and see if more people are in favor of having trampolines. |

Good luck. We had doors slammed in our faces and people quoting made up statistics about how trampolines maim and injure kids. You need to get 2/3 of the households to vote yes and from our three month battle to try and change this, I can tell you FLAT OUT it ain't gonna happen. You got old folks who hate kids who will vote against it. You've got the NIMBY's who will vote against it. You've got the quasi "healthcare workers" who won't tell you what they really do but yet produce all kinds of horrid internet searched statistics that "prove" tramps will kill your kid who will vote against it. You've got the stupid people who think a trampoline in my yard hurts their propert values who will vote against it. We heard it all. I wish you luck but you are whizzing up a rope. |
