Hello Neighbors!
My name is, Eddie Villanueva. I live on N. Lister Ave. I have lived here for 16 years now and I love it. I would like to share a concern and ask for any input/comments from neighbors. In the last year or two I have seen suspicious activity such as a) a car being abandoned on the street I live on, strangers parking-walking the street-then leaving, suspicious vehicles parked with persons inside for some time then leaving, I have even had to go outside myself after dark to run off suspicious persons who were just standing in the street.
I am aware that a local business on N. Brighton has been burglarized twice in the last year alone.
Has anyone else had similar experiences? Is there any resource through our community council or neighborhood association where we could requeset patrols from the Police department? Do we have an organized neighborhood watch that I could participate in?
