Winterset / Varsity Park

My dog Otis vanished from my yard on King Arthur Rd on 9/22/2013. He was sighted after dark on Whitman Rd in Winterset last Saturday night by a Winterset resident. Otis is a neutered male, mostly white, medium size (about 40 lbs.) poodle/terrier mix (he looks like a Goldendoodle). He has some tan on his back, floppy ears, and a tail that curves up like a crescent moon. I have owned him for 2 years, but he has frequently been an escape artist. Before this escape, it didn't take me more than a few minutes to find him. We used to walk on the Cross County Trail (which is close to my home) and he may be using the Cross County Trail as a highway to visit various neighborhoods in the area. He seems to be coming out mainly at night when few people are outside. He is good at stealing food and moves very silently. He may be hungry, and it is possible that he can be attracted with dog treats. Please help me find him. If you do see him, please immediately call me at 7032804457. Please try to keep the dog in the area or confine him until either I or Animal Control can get him. Otis has an ID chip that is registered with HomeAgain. The chip may have migrated to his shoulder.
