Kick-Off Meeting Results

Our Kick-Off Meeting on April 22 was a great success! We had almost 20 women in attendance, including corporate employees, self-employed women, and several real estate investors. Almost everyone commented on the high caliber of women in attendance. For any of us that have wondered if there are any other women out there who think like we do... we all found one another!

The meeting openend with Nancy Dana presenting the ideas that she has for the philosophy and logistics for the goup. The floor was then open for comments from the entire room on topics including what attracted people to the meeting, what kind of speakers they would like to hear, what needs could be filled by group functions, and more. The following is a summary of all that transpired.

PHILOSOPHY
The Women's Enlightened Millionaire Network is designed to be much more than a traditional networking organization, and much more than a typical monthly education organization. Women are certainly represented in growing numbers in the other local activities geared for accumulation of wealth. However, since many of those organizations are composed predominantly of men, women's style is not always represented. The Women's Enlightened Millionaire Network (WEMN) is designed to be the place for good concrete information about wealth-building activities AND a place for women to network, suport one another, build strong business and personal relationships, and help one another be as successful as possible. WEMN is also a safe place where we can support one another in discovering the fears that hold us back, and learn to step through the fear and find the satisfaction in action based on confidence instead.

LOGISTICS
WEMN will provide several different ways for women to network and learn from one another.

Monthly Meetings: We will hold live meetings monthly. Meetings will consist of time for open networking, a speaker, then time for networking by areas of intertest. Attendees will be directed to separate sections of the room to gather with like-minded women in areas like real estate, investments, business or internet.

Weekly Calls: We will hold live interactive teleconference-style calls every Monday morning at 10:00 am Mountain Time. These calls will give women the opportunity to continue to network, to deepen relationships with people they meet at the live meetings, to focus on a key learning for the week, and to call on the group for support, questions or resources. They are the perfect way to launch a successful week!

Mastermind Groups: We will foster the development of small (3-7 person) mastermind groups. Groups can meet live or by phone as often as they like. They can gather around a specific topic, like how to write and sell E-Books, or simply agree to support one another in their individual success.

Online Resources: We now have a functioning web site. DON'T make the mental leap and go to wemn.com... it is NOT our site :-{ and you may be displeased. For the time being, we have a free site that serves our purposes pretty well. You can find us online at www.neighborhoodlink.com/org/wemn. The site has some features that will serve us well. There is an easy-to-use discussion board, and a great claendar section where we can ALL post events of interest to others. There is also a section for any of us to post a page about ourselves for free! It becomes a great resource for us only if it is used... so do take a minute to check it out!

MONEY
We had a discussion about a membership fee structure, and agreed that there would be a charge to attend the May meeting. Anyone who joins will get that charge credited to there membership dues.
