My property ''estimated value'' is going out of site. I visited the appraiser & had the estimated value of my property lowered by $10,000.
I was informed that when a new developement like ours (Whispering Oaks) is created, there is no established tax base. So the appraiser estimates the value of your property and ADDS $10,000.
Whispering Oaks is now free of the ADDED $10,000 requirement, but you MUST REQUEST to have it lowered.
