Hi everyone,
This Spring we had early warm weather that created one of the most dazzling displays of flowers from our azaleas, dogwoods, and fruit trees. One of our options was to plan the garden tour for the first Sunday in April. We thought that may be a little early. As it turns our even that may have been a bit late. By then most of the flowers had already peaked. Then of course came several nights of frost in a row. Now we are hoping for the survival of many of our larger trees let alone the flowers which are all gone. Last nights rain may be just what the doctor ordered. We will try again next year and hope nature approves of our timing. Thanks to those that worked so hard in preparation for this event and offered their homes for show.
