Where's the salt?

Posted in: Radnor Green
Twice now in the past 2 weeks the neighborhood roads have been iced over from smaller snows over night for the morning comute, and as a result, cars are sliding all over.

I've slid through the stop sign at Shelley and S Avon twice myself, and this mornig (1-26), my wife was in an accident at the stop sign at Compass and GlennRock.

Her accident was the result of another accident at the same intersection! That's 2 accidents at one place in one day both caused by icy roads.

What has happened to the salt trucks that used to come through during the over night hours that helped prevent this stuff from happening?

Luckily no one in either accident was injured, but how many more accidents or near misses will it take to get our roads conditioned for the morning commute? I thought that this was part of what we pay for with our annual dues.
salt ?

where's the salt 2
That was 3, here comes more

Alright, I paid my dues.
We just had another smaller snow earlier this week, AND AGAIN NO SALT FOR THE MORNING COMUTE when the roads were covered enough to ice up.

Forcast for this week calls for snow Monday night thru Wednesday as of today, Sunday morning.

IF THERE IS NOTHING DONE AGAIN, I AM TAKING THIS MATTER HIGHER!
