When most mention our neighborhood, they refer to it as the HOLE...I guess some fail to realize that there are actually people here who are trying to buy homes in hopes of better lives for our children...It may be a forgotten neighborhood, but that is because the community just doesn't care enough..If people choose not to get involved issues will just get worse..Since there is only way in, and one way out of our subdivision, residents are forced to drive or walk by bat infested apartments, which mainly consist of drugdealers living off Section 8 housing(9 times out of 10 you will see Police Officers arresting someone, or hear an Ambulance possibly responding to a shooting)..Many here feel the apartments need to be GONE from our community!
It seems that the few places to shop around here close early due to fear of being robbed..Those who don't have reliable transportation or any at all have no choice but to shop at the ONLY grocery store in our area...I hope that more RESIDENTS will speak up because the more who do just make a DIFFERENCE!
