Neighborhood Events

1. Yard of the Month: Cleveland County Master Gardeners began judging in May. We congratulate May?¡?¦s winners, Shane and Mellissa Wilson, of 2820 Weymouth Way. A tie for the Runner-up gives us Travis and Wendy Caperton at 2505 Weymouth Place as well as Sid and Vi Caperton at 2509 Weymouth Place! Judging will continue for June and July, with prizes awarded the winners. Also, stay tuned for our ?¡?§internal honorable mentions?¡?¨ to be announced.

2. Community Garage Sale: It was successful, considering the constant rain that began by 9:30am, dampening the dozen or so participating homeowners! Give us feedback for future attempts!

3. Children?¡?¦s Costume Party Coordinator needed: We need a volunteer to act as coordinator to work with the other volunteers, if our October Costume Party is to happen. Please contact the board.

Neighborhood News / Issues

1. The pool area will be monitored more carefully, to insure cleanliness and safety for all. We all
own the pool and all that goes with it. Please lock the gate and bathroom-access door if you?¡?¦re the
last to leave and report ANY and ALL malfeasances immediately to the board and to your friends and
neighbors, including unauthorized use by outsiders. Please re-read the signs, shower before use and
clean up after yourselves and your children (especially the bathrooms). We request the help of all
users as well as watchful homeowners adjacent to the pool and clubhouse area in reporting anyone not
abiding by the rules of safety and cleanliness, unsupervised kids under 14 years old or unaccompanied
outsiders.

2. Neighborhood Watch: We still need a few volunteers to further bolster our program by becoming
Block Captains. It is not hard or time-consuming...just necessary. You will find useful information in
the community pages on our website. Also remember, you can always contact this board with any
concerns, under full anonymity.

3. We continue to remind our homeowners of the problems with street parking and cars parked
overnight outside of garages. Help us deter theft, damage and congestion by using your garage for
your cars. Neighborhood aesthetics also comes into play here. Please cooperate when possible!

4. With the summer season upon us...we remind you to submit plans for all visible improvements to avoid possible conflicts with neighbors or the Association Bylaws. Also to maintain exterior fences as required. Please contact the board if you would like a recommendation for reputable companies.
