From (as pictured) Bob, Clara, Jeff and MariLyn, your Board of Directors welcomes you to Woodlake Estates and our continually evolving Homepage. We would like to thank you for submission of your e-mail address for the most timely and effective communication of Woodlake Estates information and issues, while saving the Association hundreds of dollars annually in stamps, printing and materials. Occasional group e-mails from this board will ALWAYS be treated as confidential and BLIND-COPIED. Please check the latest update of our Neighborhood Directory to insure your information is correct, and submit any corrections to the board to be included in the next update. Also, please take note of the following recent issues:
1. Parking on our streets should be avoided whenever possible. Hazards are created with passing traffic on our narrow streets. Also, do not park so many cars on your driveway so as to block sidewalk access (it is illegal) and try to use your garage for cars, to cut down on the chance of vandalism and theft. (See 'Neighborhood Watch' heading on this homepage).
2. Please remember to submit a plan to the board for all exterior home-improvements and additions, such that we may insure increased valuation of our properties by maintaining the physical standards and aesthetic harmony of the neighborhood. In most cases, if common sense is used, plans will be happily approved the same day of submission. Our Covenants and By-laws delineate this further.
3. We thank you for keeping your fences well-maintained, and for working with your immediate neigbors on the need, timing and cost of periodic repairs or replacement.
4. Please try to keep yard debris swept up and out of the street. It builds up in our storm drainage system and winds up in our pond, creating a reduction in the flow of the entire drainage creek, resulting in an increased insect and wildlife population, among other hazards.
Don’t forget; with timely communication of your concerns among your neighbors and through your elected Board of Directors, Woodlake Estates will continue to be the great neighborhood we're proud to call our home. Feel free to use the Interactive Message Center at the top of this homepage to express yourself! Also, if you would like to add a photo and/or introduction of yourselves, see "Meet your Neighbors" under the 'Community Pages'. Thank you for your attention, and please give us your feedback and volunteer to help us help each other!
