Woodlake Estates Joins Forces with Norman Association

Ground-breaking Organization of HOA's.

We are happy to announce WEHA's role as a Member-Association within a newly developed city-wide Homeowner's Association. Who will be affected? All of us! How will it affect us? 1. By further empowering us to enforce our Covenants and Bylaws in the direction of maintaining or increasing the valuation of our homes. 2. By better-encouraging the self-resolution of problematic situations, through the help and experiences of other Associations. 3. By giving us increased backing against unfavorable dictation by developers and/or the City itself. 4. By bringing increased homeowner leverage and control over issues like insurance, liabilities, city streets and drainage. 5. By allowing for "Vender Management" whereby outside contractors and hired companies will be rated and recommended based on quality of workmanship, pricing and follow-up, to bring a new aire of competitiveness among the companies which we hire.

WEHA will be Working with Other Associations

As a member of this large and growing group of HOA's throughout the city, we will soon begin distributing internally, information gathered from the meetings of our neighboring community's officers. The City of Norman will back this new Organization by empowering us with certain political leverages, once we form an official board. That process is underway, and we encourage any interested neigbors to give input and ask questions about what all this means to us, and how you can get involved.

Given sufficient organizational-development and volunteerism, this new Organization of Homeowner's Associations will soon begin posting information on a published website.

We do intend, however, to maintain this area of our own Homepage for such postings, for our own convenience.
