Using Your Best Judgment Among Your Neighbors
As a community made up mostly of single-family homes, we all expect and demand certain responsible behavior and community awareness. At times, one or more of our neighbors may abuse certain privileges or otherwise disregard or otherwise disrespect the folks around them. It is at these times, that we must come together in communication with each other, as well as our Board of Directors.
We have many children here at Woodlake Estates, and one of the prevalent irresponsible acts is that of driving too fast through our streets. The speed limit is currently 25mph and it will be petitioned among the community and the City of Norman Streets Superintendent to acquire a 15 mph variance. The last resort will be to also petition for speed bumps throughout the neighborhood. Feedback on this issue is encouraged.
Please use your keys to access the pool and bathrooms, and LOCK-UP qwhen you leave, especially when you're the aLAST to leave. This will alleviate us from instituting a special assesment for damages. We try to have the pool opened by Memorial Day. Please keep the area tidy and ensure child-safety at all times. We strongly encourage that all babies use wet-proof swimpants to prevent the spread of water-borne illnesses.
We have a number of volunteers serving as Block Captains. A Block Captain is simply a contact point, in addition to the WEHA Board members, who can be called upon to take information and pass it on to the Board. The Police should be called first in case of any emergency. If you would like to be a Block Captain, please contact the Board.
