It's been a few weeks now, and the lawn at the entrance of our neighborhood hasn't been cut and weeds are everywhere....looks terrible. However, the HOA Board of Directors sends out letters to everyone else reminding them to keep their lawn maintained. The entrance of our neighborhood should always be well maintained...... there is no excuse for this.

It's been a few weeks now, and the lawn at the entrance of our neighborhood hasn't been cut and weeds are everywhere....looks terrible. However, the HOA Board of Directors sends out letters to everyone else reminding them to keep their lawn maintained. The entrance of our neighborhood should always be well maintained...... there is no excuse for this. Did anyone think about contacting the Board of Directors about this? Of course not. You may have found out that there was a mix up with the landscape maintenance contractor. Woodland Oaks stopped their contract and the contractor thought it was Woodland Oaks Village. The Board was involved in this issue from the beginning. Lawn has been cut, problrm resolved, credit recieved for the missed cuttings. Yes there was an excuse for this. After all, some of us are only human.

This might be 20 days past due, but the feelings are the same as the other responder. . the BOD DID have the situation under control and was working with the contractor to figure out the dis-connect with our contract. Would be nice if more than 5 home owners attend the annual meeting to understand the workings of a HOA, a lot of information is handed out during those that might have saved this home owner from an embarassing comment, that for some reason didn't make to the BOD in a form of a sent letter. . . Out of 40 homes and since 1998, ONLY 5 letters have been sent out about lawn care and, this home owner was not one of them. |
