First, please don't. Second, if you do, then stop.. its dangerous and causes bad feelings between neighbors.
While attempting to get info on irrigation I got lots more on street parking. Please take a moment to describe your parking problems, solutions you have tried, and other solutions that might work on a larger scale. Please keep in mind the covenants related to this topic and these can be found on the first page of the legacy point neighborhood page. I'll take your responses to the next board meeting for those who would like to attend but are unable.
Thanks

Parking

In addition to your message, Dawn, you might just as well add that illegal parking is not only both dangerous and thoughtless, it's in fact a direct violation of easy-to-read covenant rulings. If, as Kris Cassat once explained, graduated fines are now being introduced for illegal parking, and if, as you have previously stated, all neighbors have been contacted via regular mail regarding these parking code covenants, then yet another cautionary note here should be entirely unnecessary and indeed redundant. Without doubt, those few who continue to violate parking codes are by now fully cognizant of the covenants, and if in fact they're not, then by all means it's imperative that POA leaders reflect on just why these violators would continue to be ignorant of the impact of their actions, given that we're now entering 2008, and our POA is rapidly nearing it's five-year anniversary.

Only a recalcitrant handful of neighbors seem determined to continue parking their vehicles illegally within the neighborhood, and an immediate residential visit from POA leaders would go a long way in solving this ongoing and very unnecessary dilemma.

If indeed POA leaders are surreptitiously informing violators that there is no ''real teeth'' to covenant laws, then it might do just as well to inform Legacy Pointe neighbors that the paying of yearly dues is no longer necessary, and that POA leadership, likewise, is an impotent skeleton of an organization wholly without administrative authority of any note.

Parking on the street is not illegal! It is only restricted by the covenant to 3 consecutive days.  There seem to be several items not enforced by the board.  The tree requirements and outbuilding restrictions both come to mind.

From the Legacy Pointe Property Owners' Association letter dated April 3, 2008:

"...The Legacy Pointe POA Covenants restrict parking on all of the streets in the Legacy Pointe Subdivision.  Unfortunately, we have had numerous complaints from residents in the neighborhood and near accidents due to the parking violations on Greens Chapel Road and Persimmon, despite the repeated reminders of the restrictions.  Because those streets are the main entrances to the community and have been the primary areas of safety concerns, "No Parking" signs are being placed in the next few weeks on the north and south sides of Greens Chapel and Persimmon.  With the signs in place, the City of Fayetteville will be able to more effectively enforce the parking restrictions outlined in our Covenants.  We hope these signs will correct the continuing problems we have had on those streets, and that it will not be necessary to install the signs on the other streets as well, so please adhere to the restrictions on street parking.

 Thank you for your cooperation...."

My family would like to take time to express our deep appreciation to the Legacy Pointe Board of Directors in their effort to ensure a safe roadway within our neighborhood.
