Increased police presence promised

Posted in: Woodlawn Heights Taxpayers

Good to see last night's Taxpayers' meeting packed - standing room only attendance.

Deputy Inspector Brian Mullen appears committed to doing something about the increase in crime in the neighbourhood.  There were 7 arrests in Woodlawn in the past week and a half.  He says we'll see more patrol cars, scooter officers, and 'park and walk' police presence.

Pls notify the 47 if you witnessed any assaults, know of any criminal activity, etc.  He can be reached at (718) 920 – 1206;   brianm.mullen@nypd.org
