I would really like to see City hall get a nice parking lot/ paint job and some landscaping. Maybe even a sign out front that says Woodlawn Park City hall. Any thoughts? Tired of driving in and out and seeing that run down house.

City House Renovation

I like your thoughts and I also look forward to the facility being something the city can use and be proud of.

The city house has come a long way from the raccoon haven that it had been. It is far from the blighted property that it was, but we still have a long way to go. The exterior has had the window trim and doors painted and the grounds are being kept. Siding work should begin soon, which will further brighten up the rest of the exterior. Come to the next council meeting where we will be reviewing the parking lot plans and adjacent city green space. Funds for the parking lot and landscaping are being provided through Metro Louisville District 7 small city improvement funds.

The interior work has progressed well and it is starting to look much better. Let us know if you want a tour of these improvements prior to the dedication to the city.
