To deliver ready-mix concrete product to customers in a timely, safe and efficient manner. Must be able to operate all functions of concrete delivery, washing truck after delivery, handling and assembling discharge chutes and extensions. Responsible for changing tires as needed. Must be able to work in a heavy industrial environment exposed to extreme weather elements, some noise, perform some work in confined spaces, dust. Must be able to perform heavy and heavy lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 90 pounds.
Must have Class A or B Commercial driving license and must be DOT qualified. Driving record must meet minimum VMC requirements. Must be able to read and understand written diagrammatic instructions including road instructions, manuals, rules, regulations, etc. Overtime required; weekend and evening work may be required. Ability to deal effectively with people in stressful situations. Must have previous experience on multiple-speed, heavy-duty equipment. Starting pay $17 per hour with limited experience and higher for experienced drivers.
