The goal of ''Blanket of Comfort'' is to cover the laps of every residents in Garland Nursing homes. The next phase of the project is to provide blankets to the residents at the Senior Care Center Beltline (Beltline and Crist) There are 105 residents.
Preferred blankets are 3 to 3.5 yards by 60 inch fleece with the edges cut into a fringe and tied. These blankets can be double thickness or single thickness.
Blankets of Comfort can use your help with donations of material, time and talent completing blankets using donated material, or completing your own blankets. They will also accept financial donations.
