DEPUTY CONSTABLE'S TIPS TO PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR NEIGHBORS

The deputy constable offers the following tips to protect yourself and your neighbors.

?• When you suspect a problem, call the Dispatch number immediately -- 713/643-6602.

?• Get the license number. Even a partial number can be a big help.

?• Try to describe the person and vehicle.

?• Make sure your windows and doors are locked.

?• Check on your neighbors on both sides.

?• Watch out for strangers -- including construction, maintenance, and yard workers.

?• Pay attention to your surroundings.
