If you pickup day is Thursday or Friday the week of Thanksgiving your pickup will be one day delayed.  That means Thursday will be picked up on Friday and Friday on Saturday.     The first 3 days of the week will be on scheduled on your normal day.

Also remember to not place leaves in the roadway un-bagged unless you are having them immediately removed from the roadway.    If you are placing out for vacuuming options placed them along the right of way on your side of curb.    Leaves and storm drains don't mix.    There is enough natural leaves getting into the storm drains when it rains etc.   City only picks up leaves in paper bags, personal cans, or the tote bags.  No Plastic Bags!    You can self haul plastic bags of leaves to a full service center.  Depending on how many bags you might be charged, and you must dump the leaves out of the plastic bags yourself.  

Also remember to only place your yard waste curb side no sooner than the day prior to your scheduled pickup.    No waste should be in the pickup zone 6 feet from curb or in the right of way 11 feet from the curb prior to the day before that scheduled pickup.
