I am new to this area and I wanted to find out if what just happened to me was a one time thing or something that others have experienced.
I live in south Wrigley on Chestnut close to 19th, Two nights ago (May 2nd) my car was parked in my garage in the alley and it was broken into.
The theives made out with my GPS, rummaged through my glove compartment and side bins in the doors. THey also managed to pop the trunk of my car and rummage through there as well. Lucikly the GPS was the only thing they stole and I've already filed a police report. Nearby I noticed there was glass on the street so I know there were other cars broken into.
Has anyone else had their cars broken into recently and if so, did you happen to see anything that can help catch and bring these burglars to justice?
