6th District Councilman Dee Andrews is
pleased to present the Family Free Sunday, at the Museum of Latin American Art, 628 Alamitos Avenue, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 21st.

Long Beach residents are invited to join
Councilman Dee Andrews for an afternoon of free family fun and activities at
the Museum of Latin American Art, MOLAA, featuring art workshops for the whole
family and docent led tours of the exhibitions.  “One of our Cities
greatest assets is the fusion of many cultures. Incorporating art and cultural
events like this one is very important to our social awareness”, said
Councilman Andrews.

The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) is the
only museum in the United States exclusively dedicated to the presentation of
modern and contemporary Latin American art. As such, MOLAA plays a critical
role in the vitality of our nation’s cultural landscape, serving the
significant and fast growing Latino population.

The event is sponsored by Target. There will be
free entry to the museum and free parking. RSVP is required. For more
information or to RSVP call the office of Councilman Dee Andrews at (562)
570-6816.
