I am now 4 months pregnant and I am going to Dr. Alisa Ward in Richardson off Campbell and 75. Since I work downtown, it's pretty convenient for me. One of my neighbors highly recommended her and Dr. Carol Norton in her same office. They are both on my insurance plan, so that also played a factor. The office number is 972-238-7799

Dr. Garner is GREAT! He's got a good sense of humor, and easy-going bedside manner. And as I'm currently a week overdue, and still like my OB, that should say something! :)

And the other doctors at the same practice (Northlake OB/GYN) all seem good. If you're looking for a female, Dr. Jennifer Campbell is there, and I know a lot of moms-to-be who go to her. The practice's direct number is 972.981.7711.

Presby Plano is pretty consistently rated as one of the best places to have a baby in the Metroplex. All their labor and delivery rooms are private, as are their post-partem rooms. (Not all hospitals are all-private, so unless you want a roommate yapping at you after you give birth, definitely check on that.)
