On many occasions I see children skidding their skateboards all over our new gazebo in the park. I can see the damage they are doing as they ?“grind?” their boards along the steps. Already the first step of the gazebo is spoiled beyond repair?….

Wyndee, what can I do?

I too have seen these otherwise ?‘nice?’ kids causing damage to the gazebo. I?’ve even watch as they ?‘grind?’ on the steel seating. It won?’t be long before the neighborhood is turned into a veritable skate park!

In the name of neighborly courtesy, I recommend you express your concerns to the ?‘boarders?”. If they choose to ignore your pleas, the most prudent course of action is to take a camera and record the offenders and then go straight to the police.
